The focus is on lightness and breathability combined with an extremely competitive price in the new line of models created by the Spanish company from Arnedo (La Rioja) for professionals of the industry and construction sectors. The new IR50 and IR500 in their different colour versions, are made of textile material with high abrasion and tear resistance, and are developed according to the UNE EN ISO 20345 standard that provides the best safety, having the protection level S1 + SRC + CI + P.
The new, modern, and ergonomic design, both in the shoe and boot, increases the level of practicality and comfort without detracting from the degree of protection that the professional needs to carry out their work in complete safety, while the two-density polyurethane sole provides maximum cushioning by absorbing shock energy in the heel when walking, to avoid injuries to the lower body such as ankles, knees and hips. These soles also meet the requirements of current regulations in term of slip resistance on slippery surfaces like tile and steel (SRC).
Other features of these models are their non-metallic toecaps, lightweight and ergonomic, capable of withstanding an impact energy of 200 Joules (equivalent to the vertical fall of a 20 kg mass from a height of one meter). They also support a compression of 15kN and provide the user with a true barrier against crushing. The presence in the two models of an anti-perforation textile insole made with layers of high tenacity fibres that are resistant to perforation guarantees the perfect mix of comfort and protection, in a scope of maximum lightness, flexibility, and ergonomics. The thermoformed polyurethane insole with textile covering, characterised by thicker padded areas in strategic areas, allows for greater shock absorption and maximum comfort, while the absence of metallic components and ESD compliances make these models suited for workers of industrial sectors who operate with electronic devices.
