Ultralight, in the dual material of rubber and dual-density polyurethane (inserted in the MilleAbsorb® heel that allows for shock-absorption), it combines the flexibility and lightness of polyurethane with the durability of rubber, in terms of both abrasion and heat resistance (+ 300°C). The rubber Michelin sole guarantees a solid grip on any kind of surface, including steel and ceramic in reference to SRC, and even ice. The footwear features a safety toe-cap in fiberglass that is 240 J+ impact resistant, with a state-of-the-art anti-perforation sole (30% more resistant than the standard) in Kevlar. The CoolMax inner lining offers improved thermal regulation and optimal moisture absorption, while the Airsoft insole by Gaston Mille is antibacterial. The new Nok Nok footwear, fitted with a MICHELIN sole, is a safety shoe designed with a keen eye not only to safety, but also to style. A versatile shoe with a tread design that offers excellent resistance, stability, and support. The wide grooves were designed to make the drainage of water easier and ensure flexibility. The lugs around the edge were designed to offer greater stability and side control.


The new Rosenbauer boots co-designed with Soles by Michelin are destined for firefighters. The two teams of designers developed a Michelin sole that features reinforced and sturdy lugs on the heel. The special design of the sole in the lateral area increases the grip. The lugs in the sole guarantee excellent traction, even on slippery surfaces. The wide grooves ensure flexibility and there is a TWI tread wear indicator.



The Czech brand and Soles by Michelin present themselves at A+A with a safety shoe for firefighters and crisis response units. Comfortable and resistant, the Michelin sole presents reinforced lugs around the toe and heel areas to guarantee greater stability and durability. Thanks to a special compound used in the sole, the shoe is resistant to oils and is antistatic and anti-slip. A suede leather upper is presented in combination with fabric that is breathable and resistant to abrasion with CPU printing, and a thickness between 1.8 – 2.0 mm. The lining is in laminated breathable MESH fabric. The Hl-POLY insole– in expanded PU – is anatomical, lightweight and covered with MESH fabric. This model is S3 SRC – with a composite, non-metallic toecap.  


M1 of the Swedish brand Arbesko, co-developed with Michelin, is an extremely breathable safety shoe fitted with a Boa® FIT system for perfect and even wearability, ideal for the construction and manufacturing industries. It features armoured fabric on the toes and heels, soft metal protection and a Soles by MICHELIN shock-absorbing sole with excellent grip inspired by Michelin tires, which, thanks to its special design, makes the footwear extremely resistant. The design of the tread features grooves specially design to guarantee a constant grip with efficient self-cleaning channels, allowing water to quickly pass through and drain away. The lateral design increases control and lateral support.  

ITUTRRI – Hammer

The special design of the tread ensures grip, stability, flexibility, and lightness, while the wide channels guarantee perfect water drainage and excellent self-cleaning abilities. It has ESD properties and is fitted with a comfortable insole with arch support, Poron XRD.
