A know-how developed in almost 70 years of activity in the world of tapes, investments in technology, the constant propensity for innovation both in the field of machines and materials, have allowed Nastrotex Cufra to offer the market a wide range of products diversified in comfort, resistance, elastic recovery, performance and also sustainability, with the introduction of recycled polyester. An offer that, given the complete internal management of the production phases (from warping and weaving to heat setting and siliconing, quality control and packaging) always ensures excellent quality.
With a factory of 16,000m2, the variety and quality of the offer is guaranteed by 146 looms, 9 warpers, 9 ironers, 2 sublimation printers and 2 silicone printers that produce 35 million metres of elastic per year for customers worldwide. The energy needs of the plants are covered for 30% by solar panels that reduce CO2 emissions: the company is also UNI EN ISO 9001, OEKO-TEX standard 100 class and GRS certified, which does not just attest the use of recycled yarn, but also the entire production chain according to strict environmental and ethical requirements.
If until 2019 the fashion item was on the agenda, today Nastrotex Cufra has turned its research and experimentation of new items ever more towards the world of technical and safety footwear, considerably increasing its proposals of tapes and rubber bands for this sector. In addition to the continuative classics that are also used in fashion such as folding or needle scraps (art. 5015), it specialises in the production of those almost rigid items, which are part of the “small format” category: straps, tapes, cords and elastic strings. These are inserted as a loop on the back of the shoe, on the tongue, as a string, gaiter, between the sole and the upper for the injection shoe (see art. T21-12 and GLASS STRAP) and in some cases even only as an aesthetic element. In addition to the solid colour, Nastrotex Cufra is able to offer customised services, from jacquard processing, to printing up to siliconing and from added applications, such as reflective foils, to flame retardant and water repellent treatments.
